About fifty spectators enjoyed watching the final of the Men’s Singles Championship which was held under lights on the balmy Friday evening of the 24th February.
The winner was Andrew Foster who won 11 of the first 12 ends to establish a 17-1 lead over John Morgan. Andrew was coasting at 21-6 but John won the next five ends for a glimmer of hope at 21-13, but Andrew scored twos on the next two ends to take the title 25-13.
