Anzac Day 2025

Many club members, family and friends gathered at the club to observe the 110th anniversary of the Gallipoli landing and the 60th anniversary of the two-year National Service Intake.

President David Steinberg welcomed attendees and introduced Peter Prout RAE who gave a thoughtful talk on his experience with the national draft and subsequent service.

The wreathes were laid by a young lady and by Patrick Kenny, representing Jonathan Huston, Member for Nedlands.

After recitation of the Ode, club member and bugler of the day Phill Stewart closed the proceedings with an excellent rendition of Reveille followed by the Flag raising by Robert Wood.
