Stormie Mills opens Art on the Green

A magnificent display of the work of local artists (and one photographer) is being held at the club from the evening of Friday 1st August until the following Sunday.

Among the highlights were the works of four active DNBC bowlers and also six works by the well-known West Australian artist Stormie Mills, who officially opened the exhibition and sale, which was attended by a a crowd of about 220.

The funds raised at the exhibition will go towards a $1 million project to transform one of the grass lawns into synthetic with a roof overhead that could double as an outdoor event space.

Many thanks to all those who put in their time and expertise to make the exhibition possible. Also to those who sold the raffle tickets and prepared the nibbles served on the night.
