Lamb Tasting 23rd April

We have been approached by the School of Agricultural Sciences at Murdoch University to participate in the lamb tasting sessions that they run.
We will be holding this event on Tuesday 23rd April
They require a group of 60 people to taste lamb samples for development of a lamb grading system.
It is a free event
The sessions are for 20 people at a time and run for an hour.
We will have three sessions: 5.00pm, 6.00pm and 7.00pm.
Participants will need to arrive 10-15 mins prior to their allotted tasting time so we keep to schedule.
After completing the tasting participants will be asked to complete a survey and by doing so are giving their consent to the data being used in their research.
Names can go up on the board in the preferred time slot
The organisers will donate $1000 to the club if we can recruit 60 people for the tastings.
Participants must be:
  • Aged over 18 years of age
  • Regular consumers of red meat.
  • Willing to eat samples of red meat cooked to medium doneness (will be slightly pink in the middle).
  • Not suffering any medical condition precluding the consumption of cooked meat.
  • Untrained in this process and cannot repeat the tasting within 6 months.
  • Participants do not need to be Club Members.
