NEW SPONSORS
First the not-so-good news: Broadway Seafood (fish and chips near Princess Rd) and Dalkeith Village News (Waratah Ave) have withdrawn, and Captain Stirling IGA closed in March. All had been sponsoring us for several years and we are most grateful to those businesses for their long-term support.
However, we have succeeded in attracting 5 new Sponsors:
BROADWAY IGA – Supermarket
Shop 33 Broadway Fair Shopping Centre (next to Weirs Butchers)
Phone 9286 4356 email Broadway@adminiga.com.au 7am to 10pm 7days
Online shopping is also available.
They have become a major Sponsor and will have a 1m x 1m sign on A green.
Their range is very comprehensive and they maintain high quality produce at competitive prices and have “Broadway only” fortnightly Specials.
CHEZ PIERRE – Fine French Food Restaurant
131 Stirling Hwy 9386 5886 email info@chezpierre.com.au
Pierre has recently agreed to support the Club.
Opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday for dinner and Wednesday to Friday for lunch. BYO is available Tuesday to Thursday. Bookings are essential.
FISCH ON BROADWAY – Fish and Chips
Shop 18 Broadway Fair – facing Broadway – 9389 6889 bevan@fischonbroadway.com.au
Owned and run by Bevan and Connie Gulvin – been on Broadway since 2015
having moved from Scarborough where they traded as Fish Shack for 19 years.
They believe in producing the sort of product they would eat at home using mainly WA sourced ‘wild caught’ fresh fish cooked only in Australian pure Sunflower oil. They have won several awards.
Open from 4pm every day, limited table seating is available, BYO wine or beer.
Menus are available online and will be at the Club.
SWEET ENOUGH – Coffee and Café
Shop 30A Broadway Fair – next to Blennerhasset’s 0478 788 969 sweetenough@westnet.com.au
Owners Adrien and Sandrine have been open just 4 weeks – deciding to “make their own jobs” after being laid off owing to the pandemic shutdown – and are already gaining support “offering you a great experience with coffee, smile and a french touch”. Some flyers are at the Club offering 15% off your “first experience”.
TANDOORI FLAMES -Indian Curry House Fine Dining and Takeaway
235 Stirling Hwy Claremont (opposite late night Pharmacy)
9385 0046 email tandooriflamesclaremont@gmail.com
Have been on our list since the end of March – refer my notice then
Now fully open for business – licensed or BYO.
