Martin Adams, long-term secretary, social event organiser extraordinaire, winter bowls organiser for many years and for other services to the club, has been named the “Club Member of the Year”. On Friday the ladies had their “Bring a Friend” morning which was held in an attempt to encourage more bowlers to our club. We welcomed 17 newcomers who, following scones, jam and cream with a cuppa, went onto the greens for a short lesson with our lovely coach Rosemary Barr then we all joined in…

Tearaway Triples ended with much hilarity with almost everyone getting into the spirit and dressing for the Hawaiian them. The next season of Tearaway Triples will start on 30 October.
