Bernadette’s Farewell
In bright sunshine, about thirty bowlers turned out to farewell Bernadette by playing a few ends of bowls and enjoying a drink in the clubhouse afterwards.
President Alan thanked Bernadette for her years of service as bookkeeper and recently as bar manager and presented her with a year’s membership of the club. Sue Harris and Sally Day also presented Bernadette with a large pot plant.
