Ferocious Fours

In perfect winter sunshine, 48 bowlers (plus reserves) took to the green for this annual winter competition cunningly devised by Martin Adams and John Bridge.

The day comprised two games of fours and, in a separate competition, one game of continuous pairs. The pairs was played during the lunch break..

The winners, with two fours wins and a margin of 8, were (left to right in the photo above with David Steinberg who presented the prizes):
Jesse Brown, Daren Redeckis, Julian Brown and Gordy Wilson.

Runners-up, with two fours wins and a margin of 6, were (left to right below):
Kent Warburton, Brian Page, Chris Scovell and Tom James. (Geoff Cahif played the first fours and the pairs with Chris filling in for him for the second fours game).

Winners of the separate continuous pairs were (left to right below):
