Successful Community Bowls season completed

A very successful Community Bowls season concluded on Wednesday evening, March 15.

Forty plus, very enthusiastic players took part in this fun introduction to playing bowls, with the final results reflecting the closeness of the competition.

The overall winner was the team of CREAKY JOINTS, HAPPY DAZE came second, SMOOTH OPERATORS third and SWING BOWLERS fourth.

Congratulations must go to all participants with a huge thank you to Peter Collins for re-introducing this fun competition to the club and for all the work he put in to ensure an exciting and very enjoyable six weeks for everyone.

Thanks also to those club members and the bar staff all of whom so willingly assisted Peter.
