Heat Rule:
If the forecast temperature for 1 pm is 35C or above we will not play.
If however the temperature is forecast to be 32 C or below at 4 pm we can have a shortened game between 4 pm to 5.30. We can then get to the bar after the post pennants rush.
I suggest that if we need to implement this on a hot day those wishing to play get to the club between 3.30pm and 3.45pm. No need to phone in. I’ll select teams.
Where Bowls WA has ordered a general abandonment because of heat we will not play at all.
I will send a text message the night before to cancel social bowls due to a forecast for very hot weather.
